Digital Imaging

X-rays help us to diagnose decay between the teeth, watch for proper eruption patterns in children, evaluate the supporting level and health of the bone surrounding each tooth, view the nerve and root structure, and detect possible cysts or tumors. We now utilize digital radiography for our individual and larger panorex images. This has allowed us to decrease the exposure time to our patients by 60%! By discontinuing the use of harmful chemicals, we have also become more environmentally friendly. These images appear instantly via computer and television monitors, allowing us to immediately partner with our patients about their treatment options. The images are then stored in your patient file and can quickly be transferred to insurance companies or other specialists. Digital radiography has become an invaluable tool in helping us to diagnose, treat and maintain your dental health.
